Balloons, Wallen Visit, etc etc

I'm happy to report that Liam and the balloon are once again at peace. Dad took most of the hits on this one, bonking himself in the head with the balloon many, many times to make Liam laugh. He got close enough to pat it, then hold it, and now its one of his favorite things. He looks for it when he comes downstairs in the morning. Sadly, its starting to lose some of its "stuffing" just as they've reconciled.Grandpa and Grandma Wallen were here for a short visit last weekend, cut down due to the storm. Still, Liam got some quality time to visit with them & break their backs by making them walk him all around the first floor. They also got the thrill of their lives when Li did a streaking tour of the kitchen just before heading up for his bath. No pictures of that!

We went up to see Grandpa Pacenka this past Friday, since he's off his feet while healing from foot surgery. Li sat on him and made sure that he was staying inactive. He did find that he could "walk" faster than Grandpa Pacenka when Grandpa got up with his walker to use the bathroom. He came up on Grandpa so quickly that I had to force him to slow down so that he didn't get kicked!

Special Happy Birthday wishes to Cousin Kate today (18 - woohoo!), Uncle Andy Monday, Auntie Kat Friday, and Grandpa Wallen Saturday. Its a birthday week all around!
