Thanksgiving

We're very much looking forward to Thanksgiving this week. Everything's going well, though its been busy the past few weeks. Liam is doing great. He's standing and "walking" more than he used to, and he's getting better at trying to balance when sitting. Still a lot of work to do on both.

We've got him back on the solids. It turned out that he just didn't like the Beechnut brand. We switched to Gerber and he's doing two meals a day, taking usually a couple tablespoons per. He's doing rice cereal and oatmeal cereal too, mixed with breastmilk. We're slowly upping the consistency to get it less watery and more like normal cereals. Its still extremely messy... the bibs look like they've been through a war zone by the end of the day, and his facecloths get a definite workout.

He's sleeping well. I'm not allowed to mention how well anymore. Andy pointed out that every time I say he's making an advance in sleeping, he takes a big step backwards...so no more definitive statements. That said, I will say that we're still not sleeping through the night... but we are getting closer.

We got Liam a bouncer seat, which he loves. It lights up and plays music when he bounces. He now spends our dinnertime in it, just bouncing away and watching us eat.

I'll post some pictures from the holiday. I need to figure out how to get pics off my new phone. Got some good ones on there, but I wanted to prioritize getting this post done... who knows how long it might take me to find the cable and figure out the new phone!
