Wow, what a week... first of all, we had lots of heavy snow. Even with the melt, we have quite a bit on the ground now. We fortunately didn't lose power, but it made a few days this week quite difficult.
We found out Friday that Cousin P will be a girl. Uncle George has been calling the baby-to-be Sparky... now he has to amend it to Sparkette!
Today, the three of us drove out to visit Uncle Andy and Aunt Kate in western MA. We visited the new apartment, which is gorgeous - open, light, and airy. We then drove about an hour south to hit a brew store (Andy and Andy), Webs The Yarn Superstore (all five of us), and Opa Opa, a western themed Greek brewery. Webs was amazing. I wish we'd started in the warehouse instead of the front... we got through the whole retail store section and then Kate showed us the secret warehouse section. Holy crow, what a lot of great yarn. We didn't have a ton of time to explore, though, what with having the baby and dog in tow. Lunch was at Opa Opa. The boys has brew sampler trays, Kate had a couple of samples (she and I were the DDs), and we all had lots of yummy eats. Liam slept through most of lunch, but he woke up enough to sit in the restaurant's high chair and have some rice puffs while the rest of us were enjoying our meals.
