Baking Weekend and Snow

Yay! Liam got to use his snowsuit for the first time today. We were worried, because we didn't have boots for him. When I got the thing on him, though, I found out we had nothing to fear - his feet stopped a good couple inches short of the ends of the pant legs. No mittens needed either...his hands were way up those sleeves. I guess this is what happens when they make outfits for a 6 month range (6-12 months!). He wasn't so enthused about the snow, as you can see.

This weekend was the annual baking session. We had quite a few visitors on Saturday, despite the impending snow. I only snapped a few pictures. Here's Liam with Jaret, one of my good friends from when I worked at Nuance. He and his wife Barbara and son Ayden spent quite a bit of time... Ayden wasn't so interested in Liam, but Barbara and Jaret were having a case of what my friend Marybeth calls "baby eyes". I think No 2 for them might be becoming a firmer reality after spending the time playing with Liam!
He also got to spend some time with family. I don't know what cousin Kate's trying to sell him, but from the look on his face, he's definitely not buying it!

His grandaunt made him a "toasty topper" for Christmas. Part scarf, part hat, this thing is great! We were thinking he looked like one of the old wigged judges. Hear ye, hear ye....
