Liam's growing by bounds again... I can see him putting on weight once more. In the past month or so, we've seen him lengthening, but not chubbing out as much as he had been in the past.
I've been working with him for the last couple weeks on sitting, and we'd been able to get him up to 20-30 seconds at a time. This morning, the two boys got up early and let me sleep in after a rough day yesterday (more on that soon). When I came downstairs, Andy was all excited that Liam was showing mad sitting skills. As of this morning, he can magically sit for 5+ minutes at a time... and I missed it starting! Yay for Liam. :)
Yesterday we had a bit of drama. Our cat Doodle (notorious for ripping the cat door apart with his chubby bod as we were attempting to install the thing) started acting odd. I ended up taking him to the vet yesterday afternoon & finding out that he had a urethral blockage. He spent last night in the animal hospital getting the blockage cleared & will be spending tonight there as well getting his kidneys and bladder flushed. We thought at one point that we were going to have to put him down... he should be fine, but it was a rough time! The vet tech told us that they were glad today that he was "eating like a champ". I told her we had no doubt that he would be... Doodle doesn't know any other way to eat!
Andy and I did need to de-stress today, so we goofed around a bit. :) I'm sure Liam will appreciate these when he's older. Good thing he likes scoping out the camera with that perplexed look.
