Cross your fingers...

We've got strong hopes that the infamous baby witching hour (or hours, in our case) may be slowly coming to an end. Yes, the boy likes to scream a lot at night. He gets immensely frustrated, we get frustrated, and it makes for very very unpleasant evenings. Its been going on for weeks now, but I think we may be finally over the hump.

Last week, there was one day that he slept very little and we had one awful night that night, worse than the usual... and then the next night, nothing. We kept looking at each other, wondering when it was going to start, not daring to believe that it might not start at all. Whoever said, "silence is golden" surely experienced something like this. The following night, he cried, but only for a half hour or so. Its been like that since then... a half hour, maybe 45 minutes, and then its over. Its screwed up his overnight feeding times, but heck, we'll take it. Here's hoping this trend continues!
