Wow!

Not only has Liam been quieter at night (we're not back to normal baby at night yet, but we seem to still be heading in that direction), but Andy actually managed to capture a smile on camera!


The boy is now grabbing everything soft that comes into his hands. It doesn't matter what it is - most often, its clothing, though. He'll sit and just grab handfuls of his own shirt or onsie over and over, or if he's up on one of our shoulders, it'll be a sleeve or neckline. During his "tummy time", he'll just reach up over his head and grab the blanket he's on with two hands and pull the whole thing towards him so that it all wads up around the top of his head. I'm hoping the next step is hard objects - we try him pretty much daily with rattles, toy keyrings, etc, but no go yet.
